The magician can perform with a single card or three cards together, creating a variety of effects.

Three large playing cards are placed vertically on the stage: a King and two Queens. The magician plays a three-card trick with the audience, flipping the cards, shuffling them, and then asking the audience to guess the position of the King. The audience guesses wrong several times. The magician then removes a Queen from the audience, proceeding to an easier two-card trick. The audience guesses wrong again, because the two cards on the stage are both Queens, and the previously removed Queen has become a King, leaving the audience in awe.
